Purva Dave is the founder and owner of Places Visited. Purva enjoys travelling and believes in sharing the joy of travelling by talking about it with her friends. If Columbus decided to keep his travels a secret, one would have missed some beautiful places in this world. Here are some selected places that I have visited so far and would consider my favorite places to visit again.

Monument Valley is a region of the Colorado Plateau characterized by a cluster of vast sandstone buttes. This great valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights of 400 to 1,000 feet framed by scenic clouds casting shadows that graciously roam the desert floor.

Acadia National Park is a National Park located in the U.S. state of Maine. It reserves much of Mount Desert Island, and associated smaller islands, off the Atlantic coast.
Washington DC, formally the District of Columbia is the capital of the United States. Washington DC is a hub for American politics and history.

Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States.
Emerald Bay State Park is a state park of California, USA, preserving Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay, a National Natural Landmark. Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake where California and Nevada meet.

The Finger Lakes are a pattern of lakes in the west-central section of Upstate New York in the United States.
Puerto Rico, is an unincorporated territory of the United States, located in the northeastern Caribbean.
Yellowstone National Park is a national park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming, although it also extends into Montana and Idaho.

Sunset Beach is a beach located near Cape May Point, along the Delaware Bay, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Being a jersey girl, I highly recommend visiting this place.
